We’re saying goodbye to winter and celebrating the start of Spring in our nursery, afterschool club and holiday club this month.
As the Easter weekend approaches, our little ones are getting stuck in to all kinds of seasonal fun! We’ll be getting active with an Easter egg hunt, getting messy with some Easter baking and getting creative with writing and designing Easter cards.
Some very special visitors are coming to stay as we’ll have chicks hatching in our centre. Children will be able to see the chicks hatch and learn about how to take care of them! The eggs will arrive in our nursery on Monday 3rd April.
As always, we have a jam-packed timetable this month with activities for the children, and parents and carers, too.
Also on Monday 3rd April, we have our slow cooker course, with every participant receiving a free slow cooker and condiment pack worth £15.
The next day (Tuesday 4th April), carers are welcomed back into the centre for The Women’s Power Programme delivered by our friends at The Women’s Organisation.
Holiday club begins on Wednesday 5th April and will run until Friday 14th April, closing for Good Friday (7th April) and bank holiday Monday (10th April.)
During holiday club we’ll have a Eurovision themed ‘build a book’ workshop from Little Lamb Publishing and a visit from Allday’s Farm on Thursday 6th April for the children in our nursery and holiday club.
We’re running a whole centre trip (including parents and carers) to Croxteth Country Park on Wednesday 12th April.
We will be closed on Good Friday (7th April) and bank holiday Monday (10th April) and for staff training on 17th April. Our nursery and afterschool club will resume as normal on Tuesday 18th April.
