The Regenda Group’s annual Golf Day took place earlier this month at Mossock Hall Golf Club and raised over £3,000 for Centre 56.
The money raised will help provide care and support to the families as well as funding activities for the children and items for the nursery.
Steven Blackburn, who’s Head of Commercial at The Learning Foundry, and Club Captain at Mossock Hall Golf Club, chose to support Centre 56 in his year of captaincy at the club.
Staff from across the Regenda Group took part, as part of their Do Good, Feel Good programme which is the Regenda Group’s way of giving something back to their communities whilst promoting staff health and well-being. Staff at the Regenda Group can take part in exciting and diverse events and initiatives throughout the year during work time. These health, wellbeing and charitable events are a great way to bring staff together, raise money for a good cause and have a bit of fun!
Sean Rothwell, Director of People Services, said: “Our Do Good, Feel Good programme benefits our staff because it gives us an opportunity to get together, to work towards charitable initiatives, and build on the culture of the organisation which is very much based on one team working across the businesses within The Group.”
“The programme is really varied, we want to include as many people as possible, so we have had a range of activities such as mountain climbing, football tournaments and bake offs. Personally, the golf day is one of my highlights – it’s a chance to get outdoors, get a bit competitive and raise money for a good cause.”
Phil McNulty, Head of Asset Delivery, won a special prize for being The Regenda Group’s best player on the day. He said:
“It’s great to connect with other colleagues from different subsidiaries in the group, to enjoy a round of golf and fundraise for Centre 56” – Phil
Thank you so much to everybody involved in the day, we could not have done it without you.
It was amazing to see everybody come together to raise money for Centre 56, being part of Regenda is all about working together! #OneTeamRegenda
