Our annual family fun day took place last week on Friday 30th August 2024 and what an amazing day it was!
For more than 50 years, we’ve been supporting families who have suffered from, or are at risk of suffering from, domestic abuse or crisis. Every year, it is our pleasure to invite our children, families, and supporters are invited to come along and enjoy a day of entertainment and family-friendly activities.
A big thank you to Liverpool John Lewis and Partners for sponsoring the event and for everybody who get involved and supported us. We couldn’t have done it without you all. A special thank you to:
- Rudy’s Pizza, Albert Dock, who provided hot dogs and pizza to feed over 75 children for free
- Makeup by Kasey, who volunteered her time to paint children’s face with glitter
- Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Delta Taxis who volunteered their time to talk to the children and show them their vehicles
The day involved a raffle, a tombola, a bouncy castle, face glitter painting, children’s entertainment and more. Overall, we raised £440 for Centre 56. Took a look at the photos below to see how much fun everybody had!
