Running the Railways – Everything you need to know!

It’s finally here!

This Saturday (10th February) our Fundraising Officer, Alex Rigby, will run 56 miles for Centre 56.

Starting from Hunts Cross, his run calls at all stations on the Northern Line (even the new Headbolt Lane Station). The route is approximately 65 miles and will take him roughly 10 hours to complete.

We’ve got volunteers at Liverpool Central, Southport and Kirkdale collecting for Centre 56! If you’re passing through and have any spare change please drop some in our buckets.

Prize draw:

When you donate £20 to Alex’s ‘Running the Railways’ challenge, you’ll be automatically entered into a prize draw where you could win:

The draw will be completed on 13th February with winners contacted by email/phone. Entries will be accepted until 11:59pm on 12th February.

Join us at Kirkdale Station from 4pm to be ready for Alex to complete his challenge.

He’s due to arrive around 6pm but we’ve hot drinks and hot dogs provided by Merseyrail and The Melrose Pub ready to welcome you with hot food and drinks while you wait!
